GMAT preparation at TestPrep USA, in short

What TestPrep USA offers for the GMAT

Live online one-to-one tutoring in 90-minute lessons, a live online group course, practice tests and a question bank. Everything is taught online, so you can join from anywhere.

How much does GMAT tutoring cost?

A single 90-minute one-to-one lesson is $100. Packages bring the rate down to $80 a lesson in the 50-lesson package ($4,000). The group course is $1,050, or 2 monthly payments of $575.

How do you start?

Request a free intro call: it is a conversation about your goals and timeline, not a lesson or a test. Before any lessons are booked you can sit a free GMAT practice test in the current format. It gives a starting score and, more usefully, shows which question types and sections are costing you marks, so the plan is written from evidence rather than an estimate. The test is free; lessons are paid.

One-to-one or a group course?

The GMAT group course is taught live online in classes of at most 6 students, 72 hours in all, and every lesson is recorded. The next group starts November 14, 2026; enroll by November 11, 2026. One-to-one tutoring suits a close test date, a single weak section or a fixed schedule that a group cannot meet.

The GMAT Exam has three 45-minute sections — Quantitative Reasoning (21 questions), Verbal Reasoning (23) and Data Insights (20) — 64 questions in 2 hours 15 minutes, with one optional 10-minute break. Sections can be taken in any order. The total score runs from 205 to 805, with each section scored 60–90 and weighted equally. At a test center or online. You choose the section order, can review any question, and can change up to three answers per section.

How does the current GMAT Exam differ from the previous version?

The previous (10th) edition was scored 200–800; those scores are not comparable with the 205–805 scale. The current 11th edition was first given in November 2023; GMAC dropped its launch name on 1 July 2024 and calls it simply the GMAT Exam. The current exam has three sections — Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning and Data Insights — in 2 hours 15 minutes, and lessons are planned around that format.

What GMAT score do I need?

It depends on the programs you apply to. Check each school's published class profile, and check which scale it reports: the current GMAT Exam is scored 205–805, and scores from the previous 200–800 edition are not comparable.

How much does GMAT tutoring cost?

A single 90-minute one-to-one lesson is $100. Packages of 10, 20 and 50 lessons lower the rate, down to $80 a lesson in the 50-lesson package ($4,000). The GMAT group course is $1,050, or 2 payments of $575.

How do I start?

Request a free intro call: a conversation about your goals and timeline, not a lesson or a test. Before any lessons are booked you can sit a free GMAT practice test in the current format. It gives a starting score and, more usefully, shows which question types and sections are costing you marks, so the plan is written from evidence rather than an estimate. The test is free; lessons are paid.

Are your GMAT practice tests official?

No. TestPrep's GMAT practice tests run on TestPrep's own platform and are designed around the current GMAT Exam structure, timing and question types, with 2 attempts at each test. Official practice material comes from GMAC.

Can lessons fit around my work schedule?

Lessons are one-to-one and online, so there is no fixed class timetable. Tell us the times you can do, and your time zone, on the free intro call.

Do you offer a score improvement guarantee?

No. Full (100%) refund if you are not satisfied after your first private lesson, or after the first week of a group course. No score is guaranteed. Results depend on your starting point, your test date and the work between lessons; what we guarantee is the refund above.
