SAT preparation at TestPrep USA, in short

What TestPrep USA offers for the SAT

Live online one-to-one tutoring in 90-minute lessons, a live online group course, practice tests and a question bank. Everything is taught online, so you can join from anywhere.

How much does SAT tutoring cost?

A single 90-minute one-to-one lesson is $100. Packages bring the rate down to $80 a lesson in the 50-lesson package ($4,000). The group course is $1,050, or 2 monthly payments of $575.

How do you start?

Request a free intro call: it is a conversation about your goals and timeline, not a lesson or a test. Before any lessons are booked you can sit a free SAT practice test in the current format. It gives a starting score and, more usefully, shows which question types and sections are costing you marks, so the plan is written from evidence rather than an estimate. The test is free; lessons are paid.

One-to-one or a group course?

The SAT group course is taught live online in classes of at most 6 students, 72 hours in all, and every lesson is recorded. The next group starts November 14, 2026; enroll by November 11, 2026. One-to-one tutoring suits a close test date, a single weak section or a fixed schedule that a group cannot meet.

How private SAT tutoring works online

You start with a free intro call about your goals, your timeline and the options. It is not a lesson and not a test. Then:

  1. Step 1

    Free diagnostic test

    Before any lessons are booked

Before any lessons are booked you can sit a free SAT practice test in the current format. It gives a starting score and, more usefully, shows which question types and sections are costing you marks, so the plan is written from evidence rather than an estimate. The test is free; lessons are paid.

  2. Step 2

    Your plan

Written from the test, not a guess

The plan is set from your practice-test result, the score you are aiming for and your test date, so lessons start with the sections and question types that are costing you the most points.

  3. Step 3

    One-to-one lessons

    90-minute lessons, live online

Lessons work through the plan with one tutor. TestPrep's full-length SAT practice tests, sold separately with 2 attempts at each, are one way to check progress between lessons.

SAT tutoring: common questions

About the tutoring, the practice tests, prices and refunds.

Is the tutoring built for the digital SAT?

Yes. The SAT is a digital test taken in College Board's Bluebook app. It has two sections, Reading and Writing (54 questions, 64 minutes) and Math (44 questions, 70 minutes), each split into two modules, with a 10-minute break between them — 2 hours 14 minutes of testing in all. Scores run from 400 to 1600. Adaptive by module: in each section, the second module is harder or easier depending on how the first went. Each module includes two unscored pretest questions. Lessons are planned around that structure, and Math practice uses the Desmos graphing calculator built into Bluebook.

How much does SAT tutoring cost?

A single 90-minute one-to-one lesson is $100. Packages of 10, 20 and 50 lessons lower the rate, down to $80 a lesson in the 50-lesson package ($4,000). The SAT group course is $1,050, or 2 payments of $575.

How do I start?

Request a free intro call: a conversation about your goals and timeline, not a lesson or a test. Before any lessons are booked you can sit a free SAT practice test in the current format. It gives a starting score and, more usefully, shows which question types and sections are costing you marks, so the plan is written from evidence rather than an estimate. The test is free; lessons are paid.

How do your practice tests compare to the real SAT?

TestPrep's SAT practice tests run on TestPrep's own platform. They are designed around the current digital SAT structure, timing and adaptive module flow, and each test can be taken 2 times. They are not official College Board tests: official SAT practice is in College Board's Bluebook app, and it is worth using as well.

How long does SAT preparation take?

It depends on your starting score, your target and your test date, so there is no standard timeline. The free practice test gives a starting point, and the plan is set from it, your target and the time you have.

Do you offer a score improvement guarantee?

No. Full (100%) refund if you are not satisfied after your first private lesson, or after the first week of a group course. No score is guaranteed. Results depend on your starting point, your test date and the work between lessons; what we guarantee is the refund above.

Can I take lessons from outside the US?

Yes. All lessons are taught live online, so students join from anywhere. Tell us your time zone on the free intro call.
