Every lesson is 60 minutes, with a 15-minute break between lessons on the same day. Times are US Pacific (PT), with US Eastern (ET) in brackets.

Dates are the published calendar for this course. Enroll by the deadline shown for your start date.

How it runs

  • A fixed curriculum taught live online to a small group, on a calendar published before the course starts.
  • 24 places per start date, taught by level in classes of up to 6 — small enough for the teacher to know where each student is and to give feedback on written work, not only on multiple choice.
  • Every lesson is recorded, and the recording stays available for 14 days, so a missed class can be caught up.
  • TestPrep USA runs its own groups. Lesson times are published in US Pacific time, with Eastern time alongside.

Group or one-to-one?

The SAT group course suits you if

  • You are starting more or less from the beginning and want the whole syllabus covered in order.
  • A fixed weekly commitment helps you keep going.
  • You have several months before your test date.
  • You learn from hearing other students' questions.

Choose one-to-one tutoring instead if

  • Your test is only weeks away and you need to fix two or three specific weaknesses, not cover everything.
  • You are already close to your target and chasing a specific score. Group pacing cannot be built around one student's gaps.
  • Your available hours change from week to week, or the published lesson times do not suit you.
  • You only need one section. A few one-to-one lessons cost less than a full course.

SAT group course questions

How many students are in a class?
At most 6. Each start date takes 24 students, taught by level in classes of up to 6.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
Every lesson is recorded and the recording stays available for 14 days, so you can catch up. If you expect to miss several, one-to-one tutoring is usually the better fit, because a course's value is largely in its continuity.
When are the lessons?
Each course page lists the published start dates and the weekly timetable in US Pacific time, with Eastern time alongside. Where no start date is open yet, the page says when the next dates are published: you can enroll now, and we confirm your start date by email.
Can I pay in monthly installments?
On the courses that have an installment plan, yes: the fee is split into monthly charges, starting at checkout. The installment total is slightly higher than paying once; both figures are shown on the course page.
Can we form our own group?
Yes. If 3 or more students come together, you can have a group of your own, at the same price as the group course.
What if I am not sure which format is right?
Take the free practice test first, then talk it through on the free intro call. The score report shows whether your gap is broad (a course suits it) or narrow (a few one-to-one lessons may do).
