IB Business Management
Study of business organizations, management, and decision-making in dynamic contexts.
IB Business Management develops understanding of how businesses operate and the factors affecting business decisions. Students analyze real business situations, develop business concepts, and understand the role of businesses in society. The current course was first assessed in 2024.

Your grade in IB Business Management counts toward the 45-point Diploma, and many university courses ask for a particular grade in the subject, often at Higher Level.

SL covers business organization, HR, finance, marketing, and operations in 150 hours.
HL adds extension topics such as organizational culture, budgets, sales forecasting and production planning, and a Paper 3 on a social enterprise, in 240 hours.
